    AKA: Military Industrial Complex

    A perfect example of “the tail wagging the dog”.

    President Eisenhower, in his “Farewell To The Nation” speech, coined the term “Military Industrial Complex”. He told us that the relationship between our military, industry, and congress (holds the purse strings) was necessary for a free and strong nation. He also said that we needed to keep a sharp eye opened to prevent runaway defense spending. Just like what we have now. Forever wars. Invented wars like the “Cold War”.
